DAVIS, Dorothy W., 91, of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho passed away October 8, 2013 at home. She was born Sept 20, 1922 in Coffee Creek, Montana to William and Helen Strouf. On Jan 1, 1946 she married Charles "Bud" Davis in Townsend, Montana. They came to North Idaho in 1967. Dorothy retired from the Coeur d'Alene Tree Nursery in 1983. She enjoyed sewing and playing bridge. She is survived by her son and daughter in-law, Rodney and Nancy Davis of Fountain Valley, CA and daughter and son in-law, Candice and Edward Anderson of Kingston, ID, also sisters; Luella Weinhimer of Lewistown, MT and Lorraine Stapleton of Denton, MT. Other survivors include her grandchildren; Melissa, Tana, Beth, and Matt, and great-grandchildren; Zaak, Julio, Marcelo, and Diego. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Charles in 2005, a grandson, Bradley Scott Walton, her twin brother, Donald, and brother Lyle.
