Chuck and Mary Lou Thompson

50th Anniversary

Chuck and Mary Lou Thompson, of Hayden, announce their 50th wedding anniversary for Nov. 23, 2013. They were married in Alpena, Mich., at the Methodist Church in 1963. They moved to Moscow in 1965 for Chuck's employment as a teacher/professor at the University of Idaho College of Education.

In Moscow they raised three daughters, Julie Brown of Hayden, Janet Leas of Sandpoint and Karen Alsager of Sagle. Mary Lou was a full-time homemaker but later worked for Continuing Education at UI. They both retired in 1996 and traveled and worked in the RV education program called Life on Wheels for nine years.

The Thompsons moved to Hayden in 2002 and now have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. They will celebrate their many years together on Nov. 10, 2013, in Hayden with family and friends.

Ryley Alexander Griffin was born at 1:03 a.m. Sept. 18, 2013, to Samantha Fenley and James Griffin of Rathdrum. He weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 20.25 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Tammy Odegaard and James Fenley. Paternal grandmother is Joyce Griffin.

Jaxon Ty Schirado was born at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20, 2013, to Miranda and Tyrell Schirado of Post Falls. He weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 21 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Bob and Susan Neu. Paternal grandparents are Gaylen and Tammy Schirado.

Lucy Susanne Howe was born at 6:42 a.m. Sept. 26, 2013, to Karen S. and Mark D. Howe of Coeur d'Alene. She weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces and was 21.25 inches long. Brothers are Thomas and Nathan. Sister is Julianna. Maternal grandparents are Bill and Carol Turbin. Paternal grandparents are George Howe and Flo Bubash.

Danika Roxanne Gadberry was born at 11:50 p.m. Oct. 3, 2013, to Roxanne and Danny Gadberry. She weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Tim Willison and Debbie Proulx. Paternal grandparents are William and Beverly Gadberry.

Cheyenne Christine Lundquist was born at 9:25 a.m. Oct. 5, 2013, to Tabitha Christine and Brent Curtis Lundquist of Post Falls. She weighed 6 pounds, 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches long. Brothers are Dodge and Dominic. Sister is Nevada.
