RONAN — Five horses are missing from plot of land in Ronan after a suspected theft. The incident is currently being investigated by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, but undersheriff Dan Yonkin said that little progress has been made in the procedure so far.

The horses belonged to Kevin and Victoria Templer, and were being kept near the Cheff Guest Ranch along with seven other horses. The five horses were nowhere to be found when the Templers returned to the area following a hunting trip.

“We’ve been trying to track down leads,” Yonkin said before encouraging the public to come forward with any possible tips.
