GEORGE - A man from Yelm was injured Sunday evening when his car rolled off of Interstate 90 about two miles east of here.

Jared T. Gonzales, 20, was driving a 1993 Honda Civic. The crash occurred at about 10 p.m.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Gonzales was wearing his seat belt, and neither alcohol nor drugs were a factor. Gonzales was transported to Quincy Valley Medical Center.

The WSP said Gonzales was westbound on the freeway when he lost control of his Honda. After going left into the shoulder, he overcorrected and went to the right, off the roadway, the WSP said.

Gonzales's car broke through a fence and rolled, coming to rest on its top. He faces a charge of driving with wheels off roadway, the WSP said.

The totaled Honda was impounded by Quincy Towing.
