Class A soccer playoff roundup: Hamilton girls drop Columbia Falls

HAMILTON — Hamilton struck early, scoring goals at nine and 14 minutes en route to a 3-0 Class A girls quarterfinal playoff soccer victory over Columbia Falls (7-3-3) on Saturday.

Lillia Moore, who had been sidelined since Sept. 14 with an injury, scored at nine minutes and added another at 58 minutes.

Brianna Abrahamsen scored the second goal and assisted on the finale.

Sami Kratofil assisted on the first two scores.

Andrea Getts had seven goalie saves for Columbia Falls.

The victory advances Hamilton (12-0-1) to the semifinal round this weekend at home versus five-time defending state champion Billings Central.

Five different players scored goals for the Rams (13-0-0) with Julianna Arellano assisting on four.

Billings Central is 87-1 since 2008.

Billings Central travels to Hamilton for a semifinal match this weekend.

BILLINGS — Billings Central rode two early goals to a quarterfinal victory over Bigfork (3-8-2).

The Rams (10-1-2) scored at 4 minutes on a shot by Kylen Laber and added an own goal five minutes later. Braedon had the final goal at 49 minutes.

Scoring for Bigfork was Tyler Zavala at 64 minutes.

Billings Central outshot Bigfork on goal, 11-3.

Billings Central travels to Stevensville to face the Yellowjackets in a semifinal match on Saturday at 3 p.m.
