The Coeur d'Alene Press staff would like to hear from our readers about the haunted places of North Idaho.

A story is now being developed to be published just before Halloween sharing the creepy details about these places. And frankly, when the story is done, we want our readers' hair standing up a bit.

Do ghosts, spirits and demons haunt homes and buildings in our area? We believe for some of our readers the answer to that question is a definite yes.

We have in the past heard that places such as the Clark House on Hayden Lake, The Bates Motel on Sherman Avenue in Coeur d'Alene, and the Brig at Farragut State Park are haunted.

For those who believe, we are simply asking for the details.

We want to tell readers why the ghosts and spirits have chosen a particular home or building, and, most importantly, how they are making their presence felt.

We also want to know how this paranormal activity affects the lives of those in our community who live with it.

No place is too small, and no ghost, demon or spirit it too scary.

If you have a haunted place to share, please contact reporter David Cole at (208) 664-8176, extension 2015.
