Alice "Ali" Joan Henderson, 80, resident of Coeur d'Alene, slipped into a coma in her sleep at home and passed away the following day, October 19, 2013. She was born March 29th, 1933 in Sandpoint Idaho to Pearl Sholes and Rich Kirkhoven. She married Fredrick "Ted" Henderson on December 21, 1968 in Coeur d'Alene. Alice enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Ladies Golf League.She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather Carl Anderson; sister Betty Troutman; and stepdaughter Debbie Ziegler. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Ted; her children Catherine Dowell of Wasilla, AK, stepson Richard Henderson of Spokane, WA, and Janet Schoenhard of Spokane, WA; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Little Bit.Service will be held Saturday October 26th, 2013 at 12:00p.m. at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens, 7315 N. Government Way, in Coeur d'Alene. A private reception will follow immediately after at a family's residence in Spokane.Alice was ever the supporter behind the scenes, ensuring that her loved ones could find their dreams.
