Bluehawks hope to bounce back against Bigfork

THOMPSON FALLS – The Bluehawks put up a tough fight against Troy on Friday during an away game. The final score was 42 to 12, with Thompson Falls falling behind.

Bluehawk Nate Norris was responsible for both of the touchdowns for the Thompson Falls in the first and fourth quarter.

Junior quarterback Greg Wadsworth had 170 yards passing and 30 yards rushing. Norris held the most yards for rushing with a total of 84.

The team had a total of 170 receiving yards with Trais Hoisington leading the pack with 81 receiving yards.

The team had a total of 45 tackles and managed 140 yards in punts.

The team fell to 2 to 6 overall. Their next game will be against Bigfork on Friday night at 7 p.m. for senior night.

The three seniors on the team: Nate Norris, Jake Smith and Dieterich House will be recognized in front of the crowd at their last home football game.

Wearing their blue and gold colors on the gridiron one last time, the seniors will lead their team onto the field in a chance to claim victory in front of their hometown fans. Head Coach Curt Kegel was unavailable for comment at the time of press.
