NOXON – The Red Devils managed to gain ground during the game against Superior, tacking on two touchdowns to their final score.

The game ended in Superior’s favor with a score of 68 -16, but with the Bobcats as one of the top teams in the Western C division, Noxon played well against their competition.

Sophomore Jacob Mitchell had a 70-yard kickoff return and senior Oliver Grupenhoff caught a touchdown pass from Corey Tessier, gaining the second touchdown of the night.

The touchdowns happened in the third and fourth quarters, with Noxon trying their hardest to fight back with vengeance and close the gap. The young Noxon team continues to work hard and are gaining experience on the field.

Noxon fell to 0-7, 0-7 overall.

Head Coach Josh Patterson was unavailable for comment.
