Numerica announces new hires, Vore and O'Connell
Nathan L. Vore recently joined Numerica Credit Union's business services department as the Professional Services, Small Business and the SBA Program Manager serving the eastern Washington and North Idaho markets.
Prior to joining Numerica, Vore served as Senior Vice President - Chief Credit Administrator for Syringa Bank in Boise and was responsible for the credit administration and lending operations of the bank. Prior to his work for Syringa, Vore worked as a commercial loan officer serving in the North Idaho and eastern Washington markets.
Vore graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in business with a concentration in finance. Additionally, Vore graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School, a graduate-level executive leadership and financial management program serving the banking industry.
Kevin O'Connell recently joined Numerica Credit Union as a small-business officer serving the eastern Washington and North Idaho markets.
O'Connell has 10 years of experience in the banking and financial industry, holding a multitude of positions, most recently as an Assistant Vice President relationship manager for private banking with Columbia Bank.
O'Connell obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Idaho with a double major in information management systems and marketing.
Numerica Credit Union currently has more than 95,000 members throughout Central and Eastern Washington and North Idaho and more than $1 billion in assets. It offers a full line of financial products and services, including mortgages and business products. Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in the state of Washington or the Idaho Panhandle.
Meyer joins Kootenai County Fairgrounds staff
The Kootenai County Fairgrounds announced the addition of Mary Meyer, from Billings, Mont., as the Fairgrounds' new Events & Resources Development Manager.
Described in a press release as "a champion for the agriculture industry," Meyer grew up on a working ranch in Montana. She holds an agricultural business degree from Montana State University, After graduation, she worked in California as a 4-H agent for San Mateo and San Francisco counties and did contract work for various other county fairs in the area.
As events manager, Meyer will take on event coordination, sponsorship acquisition, and volunteer coordination for the fairgrounds' annual events which include the North Idaho Sportsman's Expo in the Spring, the North Idaho Fair & Rodeo in late August and the Pro-West Rodeo Finals in early October.
