Immanuel Lutheran hosts Boo Bash Carnival
Immanuel Lutheran Communities invites families with children ages 12 and under to its 17th annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Trail and Boo Bash Carnival of Fun on Friday.
The event takes place from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Skilled Care Center, 185 Crestline Ave., Kalispell; and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Buffalo Hill Terrace Retirement Community, 40 Claremont St., Kalispell.
Admission is free.
Youths are invited to show off their costumes (no scary costumes, please), trick-or-treat with their friends and participate in Halloween games. The Boo Bus, aka Montana Trolley, will ensure participants don’t miss a stop.

Great Pumpkin Carnival at The Gym
Family Friendly Flathead hosts a Great Pumpkin Carnival and costume contest from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The carnival features a pumpkin-baking contest, games, a bounce house and a pumpkin pie-eating contest. A teen masquerade takes place from 7 to 9 p.m.
Admission is free with a donation of food for Christmas dinner.

FVCC hosts kids’ Halloween party
The Flathead Valley Community College student government will host a free children’s Halloween party from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, in the large community meeting room inside the Arts and Technology Building.
Open to children ages 4 to 8 years old, the event will feature a Halloween ghost town theme and will offer Halloween games and other festive activities.
Children who attend are encouraged to dress in costumes and must be accompanied by an adult.

Harvest-fest Carnival at Salvation Army
The Salvation Army hosts a Harvest-fest Carnival from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30.
The event includes basketball, football and softball throws, a cupcake walk, a duck pond, polinko, a fishing pond, a ring toss and more. Sign up at the door for drawings.
A “jail” will be set up; cost is 25 cents to lock up a friend. To get out of jail, sit there for 10 minutes or pay the 50-cent fine. Proceeds from the jail benefit Youth World Service.

Harvest festival at Faith Alliance Church
Faith Alliance Church invites the public to its fall harvest festival from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31.
The event will feature food and fun games.

‘Mall-O-Ween’ slated in Kalispell
Kalispell Center Mall celebrates “Mall-O-Ween” on Oct. 31.
Big Chair Photography will be set up and taking Halloween photos of your little ghouls and goblins.
Trick-or-treaters can visit participating merchants from 6 to 8 p.m.
There will also be a costume contest from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for kids from birth through age 13. Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place winners in various categories.
Kids’ Carnival at Whitefish mall
Whitefish Mountain Mall has its annual Halloween Kids Carnival from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Kids invited to trick or treat in Bigfork
Bigfork welcomes trick-or-treaters on Halloween from 4 to 6 p.m. along Electric Avenue. Come enjoy the fun and costumes.
Nazarene church hosts Mad Lab Fall Festival
First Church of the Nazarene in Kalispell invites everyone to its Mad Lab Fall Festival, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31. The church is located at 1295 Whitefish Stage Road.
Bring a carved pumpkin using the “Mad Scientist” theme. First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded.
The festival will also have games and a dessert walk. Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served.
Halloween carnival in Kila on Friday
Kila School hosts a Halloween carnival from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday in the gym.
A nacho dinner is available.
Tickets are three for $1. Dinner is six tickets for chips and cheese; toppings are one ticket each.
Booths cost one to three tickets.
