MOSES LAKE - Impact Dance Project is bringing "Visions" back on stage Saturday with two shows at the Moses Lake High School Theater.

The dancing troupe premiered "Visions" at Big Bend Community College's Wallenstien Theater in March. They received such a good response from the public that the group decided to do another performance before the end of the year, Impact Dance Project director Krista Rustin said.

Residents can catch the encore performance of "Visions" at either 1:30 p.m. or the 7 p.m.

Saturday. "Visions" has a showcase feel to it, Rustin said.

"It's a series of choreographed dances as well as solos from each of our company members," she said. "The solos highlight the specific abilities of each dancer and gives the audience a piece of the strengths of each member."

Troupe members specialize in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, clogging, hip-hop and contemporary dance, Rustin said. "Visions" will also feature solos from some of the youth dancers that auditioned earlier this year, she said.

General seating tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at www.visionsimpactdanceproject.eventbrite.com. Rustin said there is no extra fee for purchasing tickets online.

Reserved seating tickets are $15 and are available by e-mailing impact.dance.ml@gmail.com.

Both general and reserved seating tickets will also be available at the door the day of the performance.

Rustin said Saturday's performance marks the end of the group's season, as far as performances go. Impact Dance Project members will spend the next few months working on some of their education and outreach projects, she said.

"One of our goals is to really give a lot of people the chance to try dance," she said. "Like kids who maybe can't afford a full year of dance classes or people who don't know yet that they love dance because they've never tried it."

Members are currently working on a project that will allow them to provide a dance workshop at local elementary schools, Rustin said. Members will give an update on that project as well as other Impact Dance Project events at Saturday's performance, she said.
