AA football: Sentinel slams Flathead

MISSOULA — Missoula Sentinel (5-4) used a strong second quarter to pull away from Flathead for a 36-14 Class AA football victory Friday night.
Sentinel scored two touchdowns in the quarter to take a 29-7 halftime lead.
Flathead scored on a 3-yard pass from Easton Johnson to Walker Malmin in the first quarter and on a 2-yard pass from Johnson to Cody Eacker in the fourth quarter.
Johnson was 20 of 33 passing for 139 yards.
Flathead (3-6) closes out season play Friday at Legends Stadium versus Glacier.
