So, are you looking to get a jump on holiday shopping? Come to The Heritage Museum’s Holiday Bazaar.

An array of handcrafted items will be displayed throughout the museum this Friday and Saturday, Nov. 1 and 2. You can support your local museum while you enjoy a festive shopping experience.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday there will be a festive mood in the air.

Peek in the windows of the Bolyard dollhouse and see the tiny decorated tree and Christmas dinner on the table. Also look through the windows of the “Little House” which portrays Christmas in the early 1900s.

The museum will be alive with music and chatter as shoppers search for those perfect gifts. There will be pottery, jewelry, needle-crafts, woodcrafts, paintings, photos, note cards, calendars, Christmas stockings, baskets, specialty cookies, candies and syrups, artwork, fleece and wool items, baked goods and more.

As always, admission is by donation.

The Holiday Bazaar is the museum’s main fundraiser of the year. The museum depends on the Holiday Bazaar to cover the yearly insurance premium and the winter heating bills. A large portion of the profit will come from the raffle, which offers a $100 first prize.
