VOTE: Pick these four for the future

I am endorsing Steve Widmyer for mayor and Woody McEvers, Amy Evans and Kiki Miller for city council because I believe they give us a chance for the best and brightest future for the city of Coeur d’Alene. I have lived in our city for over 30 years and have seen the city struggle through economic downturns, and transition to the vibrant and exciting place it is today.

Recently, I traveled to another state to find the two downtowns near where I grew up had gone through significant decline. Here in Coeur d’Alene with the Kroc Center, a new library, bike and walking trails and the abundance of park and lake access, we would be the envy of most cities. I want candidates who are positive with a clear and exciting vision for the future of our city. I most look forward to taking my granddaughter to the playground and splash pad at the new McEuen Park. Please help to keep the city of Coeur d’Alene moving toward a better future by voting for Steve Widmyer for mayor, and Amy Evans, Kiki Miller and Woody McEvers for city council.
