I am writing this letter as an endorsement for Steve Widmyer as a candidate for mayor of our city. Steve is a lifelong resident and has worked in our community for more than 30 years. Steve has experience in working with all aspects of city government. He is a fiscal conservative and has stated that if he were in charge he would have preferred a public vote on McEuen Park.

Steve is a person of passion and dedication. As mayor he will lead by example, and will not be afraid to roll up his sleeves and get dirty. Steve has good leadership qualities and the ability to influence, motivate and direct others.

As mayor he will be open to all. His goal will be to develop a vision that is well communicated. He will not play favorites and will not succumb to outside interests. You will be able to trust Steve because he is a man of honesty and integrity. Steve will “raise the bar” at City Hall. Please consider supporting him as a candidate for mayor of our city.
