Police respond to shots fired outside of Ronan

RONAN — Police responded to a call saying shots were fired on Timberlane Road outside of Ronan on Friday morning.

Tribal police, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and Montana Highway Patrol were all on the scene.

The Montana Highway Patrolman at the roadblock told the Leader that it was a Tribal Fish & Game matter, and the other officers were just providing support to keep the area safe.
