Golf: Libby, C-Falls split dual

COLUMBIA FALLS — The Columbia Falls and Libby golf teams split a dual at Meadow Lake Resort on Wednesday.
Libby won the boys meet, with Morgan Wilkins shooting an 84 to lead the pack by 13 strokes. The Loggers finished with a team score of 386 to easily outpace Columbia Falls.
The Wildcats’ Gabe Love finished in second with a score of 97 while Libby’s Kyle McNew, 98, and Johnny Cielak were right behind him. Columbia Falls’ Henry Chisholm and Libby’s Quinn Sullivan tied for fifth with each carding a 105.
Columbia Falls was much stronger on the girls’ half, as Britney Cotton led the Wildkats to a team victory with a meet-best 114. Libby’s Erin Jager finished second with a 120 and teammate Lily Feeback and Columbia Falls’ Ali Gould tied for third with 126. Columbia Falls’ Shay LeFevbre finished fifth, carding a 128.
