Love is top golfer for Cats at Meadow Lake

Gabe Love was the top golfer for Columbia Falls High School last week at a Sept. 11 dual against Libby. Love shot a 97 to take second for the Wildcats at the Meadow Lake Golf Course. Henry Chisholm was fifth with 105. Libby’s Morgan Wilkins shot 84 to win the event.
On the girls side, Britney Cotton led the field with 114. Shay LeFevbre took fifth with 128 on the tough course. The meet was initially scheduled for Sept. 9 as a triangular with Polson and Libby but was moved to Wednesday.
The team travels to the Polson Invitational on Thursday.
