The Alberton Lady Panther volleyball team squared off against Seeley and Lincoln this week in two hard fought matches.
At home on Thursday, Alberton found themselves facing a very talented Seeley team and fought with them all the way.
“They are a good team and the Varsity team competed well,” Head Coach Hannah Anderosn said. “We were tied 15-15 the first game and 10-10 the second game, but struggled to continue to score for the remainder of the games.”
On Saturday the Lady Panthers hit the road and had a quick start against Lincoln – winning their first game. They continued to fight hard throughout the match but dropped the next three games.
“Sam Bennett had fabulous digs and Ryan Vicek kept the team motivated with some fanstastic plays keeping the ball in play the entire evening,” Coach Anderson said.
Coach Anderson added that she saw several positives out of her team during the week including great digs and “plays utilizing individual strengths.”
