A Kalispell Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Tuesday features a discussion forum with candidates for the Kalispell City Council.

Candidates will be asked to share their views on key city issues, including municipal budget matters and the looming referendum on the Kalispell City Airport.

Joseph Apple and Sandy Mundahl Carlson are running for a Ward 1 seat on the City Council.

Chad Graham is uncontested for a Ward 2 seat and incumbent Tim Kluesner is uncontested in his run for a Ward 4 seat.

Incumbent Jim Atkinson is being challenged by Jason Mueller and Karlene Osorio-Khor for a Ward 3 seat on the City Council.

Mark Johnson, the only candidate to file for the mayoral seat on the City Council, also has been invited to attend.

The luncheon is Tuesday, Sept. 24, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel Kalispell.

Members of the public are welcome to attend for free without eating lunch.

For more information about the event, call 758-2803.
