Prugh, Hatley team up to win

Pro-Amateur Championship

SHELTON, Wash. - Professional Corey Prugh of Manito Golf and Country Club in Spokane, and his amateur Reid Hatley of Hayden Lake Country Club won the Pacific Northwest Pro-Amateur Championship on Thursday after posting a 62-64-126, 18-under par at Salish Cliffs Golf Club, good for a three-shot victory.

Prugh previously won this event back in 1998 as an amateur. Hatley won this event back in 2007 as a PGA professional.

The tourney is a two-man team competition with one professional and one amateur playing a four-ball format.

NIC Booster Club

to hold athletics showcase

COEUR d'ALENE - North Idaho College coaches will present previews of the upcoming season just getting underway at the Booster Club Luncheon Athletics Showcase from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Head coaches from all of NIC's teams will be on hand to speak. There will also be a season recap highlight video and raffle at the showcase.

The public is welcome to attend the luncheon. The cost of lunch is not covered.
