Area men caught in Idaho meth bust

Three Montana residents were arrested on methamphetamine-related charges Monday in northern Idaho.

Idaho State Police Cpl. Kevin Kessler arrested Elmo residents Peter Auld and Derek Hewankorn and Polson resident Tasha McDanal late Monday on a slew of charges.

McDanal was charged with dispersion/possession of prescription drugs, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Auld, who had a warrant out of Benneville for failure to appear, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without privileges.

Hewankorn was charged with possession of methamphetamine, carrying a concealed weapon without a license and possession of drug paraphernalia.
