VOLLEYBALL
DILLON — Polson graduate Breanne Kelley is off to a terrific start in her junior season at the University of Montana Western.
Kelley, an outside hitter for the Bulldogs, played well enough last week to merit nomination for the Frontier Conference Player of the Week.
Twice this season Kelley has notched a career-high 15 kills, and she has recorded 11 or more kills in each of the Bulldogs’ last four contests.
Kelley ranks second on her team in both kills (135) and digs (150) through 17 games. In that time, UMW’s spikers are 7-10. They began conference play with a 3-1 loss to Westminster last week.
