Railway to conduct HazMat training Friday

BNSF Railway and local emergency crews will conduct a specialized hazardous materials training session on Friday afternoon near Depot Street in Whitefish.

The session will include a BNSF locomotive and tank car designed for training. Focus will be on best practices during HazMat incidents.

The Whitefish training session is in coordination with the Transportation Community Awareness and Emergency Response organization.
