School board election gains fourth candidate

Four candidates have filed to run for three seats on the Whitefish School District Board.
Incumbents Dave Fern, Shawn Watts and Heather Vrentas, along with newcomer Marguerite Kaminski have filed for the election. The seats are for three-year terms.
Fern is seeking his eighth term on the board. Both Watts and Vrentas were elected to the board in 2011.
The election is May 6.
