YAKIMA - The Moses Lake High School boys track team finished 11th overall at the 40th annual Don Holder Relays at Eisenhower High School.
Sam Welch finished 11th in the 100 meters with a time of 11.97 seconds. Edgar Vela recorded a time of 59.22 seconds in the 400 meters, good for 38th place.
Alec Schweisow took fifth in the 1600 meters with a time of 4 minutes, 39 seconds. Justin Schroudt competed in the 300 meter hurdles for the first time ever and notched a time of 53.52 seconds.
Colton Rose finished fifth in shot put with a throw of 42 feet, 10 inches. Jacob Duvall recorded a throw of 39 feet, 9 inches.
In the high jump, Trey Strickland took fifth after clearing 5 feet, 8 inches. Matt Cooper finished 22nd in the triple jump at 35 feet, 7 inches.
Alysha Overland won the 300 meter hurdles, just edging Southridge's Bree Lane. Overland finished with a time of 46.10 seconds.
The 4 x 100 relay team of Caylah Lunning, Kayla Grigg, Taylor Yamane and Overland finished second, narrowly missing first by .02 of a second.
Selina Koon took second in the high jump after clearing 5 feet.
Lunning took first in the long jump with a jump of 17 feet, 2.75 inches.
