MOSES LAKE - Grant County Republicans will celebrate their annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Friday, April 4, with two keynote speakers and appearances by candidates from every level of office in the state.

"They'll just be introduced. There will be too many for all of them to make a speech," Grant County Republican Party Chair Kimber Lybbert said.

The dinner will be held in the 4-H Building at the Grant County Fairgrounds in Moses Lake at 6 p.m. It is the county party's principal fund raiser.

Lybbert said ticket sales are picking up fast as the dinner approaches. She added that space is limited.

"Get yours before they are gone," she said. "We've not only got some great door prizes and auction items, but we've priced the tickets low enough that you'll be able to afford to bid."

Attendees will enjoy a BBQ pork loin or tri-tip dinner and entertainment, including performers from around the Columbia Basin.

Tickets are available for $40 per person, $70 per couple or tables of 8 for $280. Email lincolnday.tickets@gmail.com.

The keynote speakers will be Washington State GOP Chairwoman Susan Hutchison and former National Rifle Association President Sandra Froman.

"If you would like to donate an auction item or decorate a table to promote your business, please contact Anna Unruh at (509) 431-2493," Lybbert said.

The Tax Day rally on April 15 promises to be another good opportunity to meet candidates for the 2014 elections.

Sponsored by United to Win 2014, it will go from 3-6 p.m. at Twin Towers Memorial Park, Pioneer Way and 5th Ave-Wheeler Road in Moses Lake. There will be entertainment and hot dogs.
