COEUR d'ALENE - Kootenai County Democrats are inviting the public to caucus later this month to help select delegates who will represent the county at the Idaho Democratic Party State Convention to be held in Moscow on June 20-22.

"This is another fantastic opportunity for Kootenai County Democrats to get involved with the party and have a real say in developing our party platform for the 2014 election cycle," said Paula Neils, chair of the Kootenai County Democratic Party.

The caucus will be held at the Harding Family Center, 411 N. 15th, Coeur d'Alene on April 26.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m., and the caucus begins promptly at 10 a.m. Larry Kenck, Kootenai County resident and chair of the Idaho Democratic Party, will welcome participants.

Anyone who wants to participate as a Democrat and who will be a registered voter of the county on Nov. 4 may participate in the caucus. The meeting is open to the media and the public.
