Sandpoint earns glowing audit

SANDPOINT — It was a diverse City Council meeting Wednesday as members received an audit report and heard requests for utility bill relief.

City treasurer Shannon Syth and her team enjoyed good news when Chris Shipley, a certified public accountant of Audit and Assurance Services, gave a glowing report of the city’s finances. According to Shipley, everything within the budget he reviewed was in good order.
