C.M. Russell bests Flathead in dual

GREAT FALLS — Sylas Schutt and Emma Andrews were double winners for Flathead in a season-opening track dual with Great Falls C.M. Russell on Friday.
Schutt posted the top times in the 1,600 (4:43.18) and 3,200 (10:31.49) and Andrews placed first in the high jump (4-11) and triple jump (34-6).
Flathead’s boys won seven events while the Flathead girls won eight.
Flathead’s next action is the Kalispell Time Trials on Tuesday at Legends Stadium.
CMR won both duals by close scores.
