ROYAL CITY - The Royal High FFA topped the Kahlotus town team to win the Kahlotus Donkey Basketball Tournament at Kahlotus High School.

Washtucna FFA had a team, and the Kahlotus town team was made up of adults

The Royal Knights FFA team came out victorious after a well played championship game. High point man for the team was Tyler Garretson, who always seemed to be under the basket.

The outstanding horsemanship title went to Ashlee Moore who scooped up balls from the floor and was off and on her trusty steed in the blink of an eye.

Maddy Thomas was awesome as the center in the championship game. She held her ground against an opponent easily twice her size.

Kaitlin Stewart was always in the way of the other team when they would try to make a fast break.

Greg Scroggins was both an excellent center and a game strategist controlling the ball in the last 30 seconds of the championship game.

Rebecca Lutz was unbelievable as the utility player. Offense, defense and a time as center, she seemed to handle every position with ease.

Mr. Kannely had his turn at center (the center doesn't ride a donkey), confusing the other team with his unorthodox playing style and needling of the fans. He had to pick himself up off of the floor a couple of times and the crowd loved that.
