Notice is hereby given that the Housing Authority of Grant County will receive Contractor bids until 2:00 p.m. local time on May 8, 2014, for the Esperanza 16 Unit Seasonal Farmworker Housing project located in Mattawa, Washington. Sealed bids will be received at the offices of the Housing Authority of Grant County, 1139 Larson Blvd, Moses Lake, Washington.
Availability of Bidding Documents: Bidders may obtain the Contract Documents at the office of ZBA Architecture, PS, located at 421 West Riverside, Suite 860, Spokane, WA 99201, (509) 456-8236, upon payment of a $100.00 per set deposit. Any such plan holder, upon returning the Contract Documents promptly and in good condition, will be refunded the deposit. Full sets of the Contract Documents may be purchased from the Architect by anyone for $100.00. No partial sets will be issued. The Contract Documents may be examined at the following offices:

Bid Security: A certified or bank cashier’s check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, payable to the Housing Authority of Grant County or a Bid Bond executed by a licensed bonding company is required with each bid.
Rejection of Bids: The Housing Authority of Grant County shall have the right to reject any or all bids not accompanied by data required by the bidding documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
All work performed on this project shall be subject to the higher of the prevailing State and Federal Wage Rates.
This project shall comply with the State of Washington Apprenticeship Participation requirements. See the Special Conditions for additional information.
Contractors certified as M&WBE are encouraged to submit proposals for this project and all Contractors will be encouraged to do business with these enterprises as applicable to their scope of work.
A site walk-though will be held on April 24, 2014, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
