Billy Frederick Dunn, Sr., November 9, 1935 – April 14, 2014. Born November 9, 1935, in Anderson, Ind., to Mildred E. Dunn, Billy joined the United States Marine Corps in 1952 and served during the Korean War as an airplane mechanic on the USS Wright. After his enlistment in the Marines, Billy enlisted and served in the Army as an M.P. for an additional six years. Billy married Ethel C. Tallman on March 1, 1960, in Bakersfield, Calif.

Billy is survived by his wife, Ethel, and children: Billy Dunn, Jr., Shawn Dunn, Roy (Andy) Dunn, Millie Wallen, and Deana Scott. He also has children from his previous marriage: Ricky Dunn and Rhonda Jakes; and stepchildren: Tiry Jones, Ginger Scott, Mike Jones, and Cathy Belk. Billy also leaves behind 32 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.  

During his time on this earth, Billy had many accomplishments, including teaching and mentoring to many young children within the Boy Scouts, Hutton Settlement and church youth programs. He was loved by all, and will be missed dearly.
