The Lady Trojans (2-5) dropped a doubleheader to Deer Lodge at home Saturday. Troy will host Mission at 4 p.m. Thursday.

At Troy, the Lady Trojans had a hard time in the field, committing 10 errors. Caitlin Johnston went 2-3 with two RBIs. Troy’s first two batters, Tana Thill and Lexi Tunison, did well setting the table for the middle of the order, combining for five of the team’s 10 hits on Thursday.

Mountain pleads not guilty to seven Yaak burglary charges
Not guilty, seven times over. That was the plea Monday when Zachary Michael Mountain, 19, was arraigned before District Judge James Wheelis. Mountain faces as many as 140 years in prison for his alleged involvement last year in a string of felony burglaries in the Yaak.
