Kootenai Health Foundation adds Towery

Kootenai Health Foundation's President Shawn Bassham adds Britt Towery as the new Fund Development Coordinator. "We look forward to Britt bringing to the foundation a wonderful sense of community and an outstanding culture of caring towards patients, their families and donors," said Shawn Bassham, foundation president. "She is a great addition to a great team."

Towery has nearly 15 years of experience in administration, marketing, public and community relations, and leadership with nonprofit organizations. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication, with an emphasis in public relations, from the University of Idaho, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in organizational leadership from Gonzaga University.

"A heart for philanthropy and genuine desire to create mutually beneficial long-term partnerships drives her to cultivate and foster positive and lasting donor and stakeholder relations," states a press release.

Towery is a member of the Rotary Club of Coeur d'Alene, and she serves on the board of directors for North Idaho College Foundation and the Salvation Army Kroc Center.

A Leadership Coeur d'Alene graduate, she continues service with the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Committee. In 2011, Towery was named one of the North Idaho Business Journal's "Top 30 Under 40."
