COEUR d'ALENE - Post Falls' Joseph Glenn shot a 69 on Monday to win the boys medalist title at the Lake City Invite, held at the Coeur d'Alene Golf Club.

The Trojans carded five rounds under 80, beating Lewiston by six shots for the team title.

Lakeland's Derek Bayley shot a 72 to finish second to lead the Hawks to a fourth-place finish in the boys tournament.

"It was a beautiful day for golf. The course was in great shape and a gracious host as always," Coeur d'Alene coach Jim Maurer said. "The kids all played well.

"Lake City, Lewiston, Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls were especially trying to bring their best game because regionals will be held at this course on May 6."

Brice Volking's 75 paced Coeur d'Alene, which came home third. Lake City's Kenny Dodge shot an 80 for the fifth place Timberwolves.

On the girls side, Coeur d'Alene's Allison Duffin shot a 83, good for second place.

Lewiston's Sammi Jo Spring shot a 81 for medalist honors. Allison Duffin shot a 83 and Coeur d'Alene beat Lewiston by 20 strokes for the girls title. Emily Dodge's 84 paced Lake City, which finished third.

Post Falls was led by Makayla Franks 101, and the team finished fifth. Lakeland's Hayley Rotchford carded a 95 for the fourth-place Hawks.
