Sandra O’Neal, 75, of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2014.

Sandra was born on July 28, 1938. She grew up in Spokane, Wash., graduating high school in the early fifties.

Sandra moved to Coeur d’Alene in the early sixties, and raised her two children. She worked for Rax Restaurant as a hostess in the eighties and nineties, then cleaned private homes for several years until she went to live in a nursing home.

Sandra loved her grandson, Brandon, and great grandson, Dominic. They were her pride and joy.

Sandra’s final years were spent at Life Care Center, Post Falls, where the nurses nicknamed her "Red," called her a spitfire, and took wonderful care of her. They said she will be greatly missed. Sandra lost her son, Timm O’Neal, in November 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Shelene Miller and husband Leon, of Post Falls, Idaho; grandson, Brandon Miller; and great grandson, Dominic Miller, of Post Falls.
