City ponders jobs stimulus plan

SANDPOINT —  In the wake of Coldwater Creek’s bankruptcy, city officials are taking action bring more jobs into town.

With more than 300 employees out of work, the impact of Coldwater Creek’s bankruptcy to the local economy will be substantial, according to regional economists. However, city officials are working with economic organizations and Coldwater Creek’s human resources department to help limit the impact and find new jobs for out-of-work individuals.
