The Kootenai County Democrats Caucus for Delegates will be held Saturday, April 26, at the Harding Family Center, 411 N. 15th St., Coeur d'Alene.

Attendees will select 33 Kootenai County delegates to attend the Idaho Democratic Party State Convention, June 20-22 in Moscow.

Doors open at 9 a.m., and the caucus begins promptly at 10 a.m.

Larry Kenck, Kootenai County resident and chair of the Idaho Democratic Party, will welcome participants.

"Being a delegate to the state convention is a great opportunity for young people, working parents, women and many others to get involved in the political process to bring their issues to the forefront of public debate," said Paula Neils, chair of the Kootenai County Democrats. "They can be personally involved in a serious, thoughtful, and respectful debate to craft the Idaho Democratic Party platform."

The caucus is open to all Kootenai County residents, but only registered Democrats will be able to participate in the delegate selection. The meeting is open to the public.
