Too many dogs for one owner

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday regarding several pit bulls attacking a dog in the vicinity of Poplar Road. An animal warden determined that because there were seven dogs, their owner has to apply for a county kennel permit.
A person calling from Jellison Road reported hearing several loud explosions, and he speculated people were shooting at exploding targets.
A person calling from Shady Lane reported that items had been stolen from a camper trailer.
There was a report of several bags of garbage falling from a pickup truck on U.S. 2 in the Kila area.
A Farm to Market Road resident reported that dogs were chasing his livestock.
A woman calling from Swan River Road reported that she caught her son vandalizing a vacant property.
An Aurich Avenue resident called Kalispell Police Sunday to report that someone in a dark-colored car attempted to steal bikes belonging to two young children.
There was a report of a man hitting a woman while he was driving a vehicle on East Idaho Street. After they were located, the two were taken to the police station for interviews.
After a traffic stop on West Idaho, a man was detained for suspicion that the car he was driving had been stolen from the Cutbank area.
Monday, at around 9 a.m., there was a report of a man grabbing and choking a woman in a vehicle in the vicinity of East California Street. The man was later located and arrested for partner-family member assault.
