Man is arrested in sex sting

SANDPOINT — A Washington state man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly arranging a sexual tryst with an underage Bonner County girl and sending her an explicit photo.

But the 14-year-old girl Edward Nicholas Bursiel he is accused of trying to seduce was actually a Bonner County sheriff’s detective, according to the arrest report. Bursiel is charged with using the Internet to entice a child for sexual contact and disseminating hazardous material to a minor.
