HAYDEN - Lakeland's Derek Bayley won medalist honors after shooting a 74 on Monday at the Kraus Invitational held at Avondale Golf Club in challenging conditions.

Kenny Dodge and Jake Vetsch carded 76s to help Lake City to second place, eight shots behind Lewiston.

"The course was playing tough, evident by all the high scores," Dodge said. "But the team did great, hung in there and battled."

Hayden Nosworthy added a 85 to help Lakeland shoot a 337 and finish in third place.

Colton Gable's 79 led Coeur d'Alene to a fourth-place finish, and Joseph Glenn carded a 81 to pace Post Falls to fifth.

Ryan McNulty' 83 was the low score for St. Maries.

Most teams are back in action on Monday at the Lakeland Invitational at Twin Lakes Village.

Vikings win Coeur d'Alene Invite

HAYDEN - Emily Callahan shot a 82 to help the host Couer d'Alene Vikings win the Coeur d'Alene Invitational, held Monday at Avondale Golf Club.

Callahan finished second individually to medalist Sammi Jo Spring of Lewiston, who shot a 78.

Emily Dodge carded a 94 to help Lake City finish third, Makayla Franks shot a 109 as Post Falls took sixth place.

Morgan Manfull shot a 117 to lead St. Maries.
