MOSES LAKE - Grant County detectives are seeking the public's assistance in finding four men who robbed Sandoval's Market in George at gunpoint in February.
The night of Feb. 13, four masked and armed men entered Sandoval's and demanded money from an employee behind the counter.
Another employee attempted to hide in the back of the store, but was caught by a suspect and tied up to an office chair. During the robbery, a customer entered the store and was taken behind the counter and also tied up, according to previous reports from the Columbia Basin Herald.
The four suspects fled in a stolen vehicle, found abandoned later that night on Beverly Burke Road. They have not been identified.
All four males are described as young and Hispanic, speaking primarily English and some Spanish. All four were armed with handguns during the robbery. One suspect wearing a gray sweater vest is described as about 5-feet-6-inches tall, thin and about 20-years-old. The suspect wearing the black zip-up sweatshirt is also about 5-feet-6-inches tall with a heavier build, according to the sheriff's office.
Descriptions for the other two suspects were not released.
Anyone with possible information is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 509-762-1160 or send information to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
