RONAN – Mission Mountain Country Club played host to student athletes from across northwestern Montana as the Ronan High School Golf Invitational took place on Tuesday, April 15.
The Plains boys golf team finished in ninth with 10 points in the tournament in Lake County.
However, the boys were not the only ones from Plains on the links and Jade LaDeaux put together an impressive afternoon round of golf.
LaDeaux shot a 104, which was good enough to give her a share of third place in the individual contest of the Ronan Invitational.
She split the third place finish with Maddie Lorang of Bigfork, who shot a matching 104 through 18 holes.
Both the boys and girls of the Plains High School golf team have a big week ahead as they will be hosting their very own invitational tournament this weekend.
The Plains Invitational will be held on Saturday, April 26 and golfers are scheduled to tee off at 10 a.m.
After that the team will head to St. Regis on Thursday, May 1 to compete in an invitational down there.
The clock is continually winding down to the end of the season. Mid-way through, Plains will need to find their swing to make it to the state tournament.
