Cd'A Symphony season finale

<p>Violinist Annie Pham, 14, will perform with the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra May 3 and 3 at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.</p>
The Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra is winding up its 2013-14 season with its grand finale on May 2 and 3 at the Salvation Army Kroc Center. The performance will begin with Rossini's Barber of Seville Overture, which will remind you of Bugs Bunny snipping away at Elmer Fudd, followed by Mozart's 29th Symphony, written when the composer was only 18.
14-year-old violin soloist Annie Pham, a ninth-grade student at Newport High School in Bellevue, Wash., will be performing the Paganini Violin Concerto with the symphony after placing in our National Young Artist's Competition held in January.
The concert will end with Schubert's Unfinished Symphony, the (arguably) most beautiful of his works, filled with themes from movies, commercials and television shows that you're sure to recognize.
This is the symphony's last performance until the fall season begins. Support your local performing artists, and join us for a terrific concert!
Performances are on Friday, May 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 3 at 2 p.m. at the Salvation Army Kroc Center in Coeur d'Alene. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors 65+, and $8 for students with ID and youth 12 and younger.
