• Lake City Playhouse moves Paton to managing director position

Lake City Playhouse announced the promotion of box office manager, Hannah Paton, to managing director. Paton has been involved with Lake City Playhouse as a volunteer and performer for several years, and has spent the last two seasons in the box office.

Paton graduated from the University of Montana with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in acting in 2010. She worked with several companies as an actor, stage manager, and writer before moving to Coeur d'Alene in 2011. She brings experience, energy and enthusiasm to her new role at the Playhouse, and looks forward to continuing to build on the success of the last few years.

• Sweeney and Carr earn Circle of Excellence Awards

Cindy Sweeney and Janice Carr of Lakeshore Realty earned the Circle of Excellence Award. The Coeur d'Alene Board of Realtors recognizes those members who have demonstrated excellence in the field of salesmanship, and for involvement in the industry, the association, and the local community. Sweeney has been involved in local real estate sales since 1993. Carr has been involved in local real estate sales since 1994.

• Gillespie joins Trindera as electrical project engineer

Trindera Engineering, an electrical and control systems engineering and consulting firm based in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane, announced the recent hiring of Curtis Gillespie as electrical project engineer.

Gillespie brings more than 14 years of experience in business information systems, electrical design, systems development, and AutoCAD design. Most recently, he was project engineer for Engineered Control Systems in Spokane. He will be an electrical project engineer for industrial, manufacturing, and material handling projects at Trindera. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business information systems from the University of Phoenix.

• Mobraten joins Mountain West as assistant vice president

Mountain West Bank, a division of Glacier Bank, announced that Gavin Mobraten is now assistant vice president of Mountain West's small business administration division in Coeur d'Alene.

Mobraten's banking background includes more than 16 years of financial experience in the Greater Spokane, North Idaho, and western Washington regions, with an emphasis on commercial real estate, SBA financing, and residential mortgages. He previously worked at U.S. Bank for nine years in SBA and commercial real estate financing.

Mobraten is involved with several community organizations including the Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce, Coeur d' Alene Chamber Leadership graduates 2011, Festival of Trees, Habitat for Humanity, and Meals on Wheels. He is also a Northwest Business Development Association committee member, Risk Management Association member, United Way Contributor, and Ironman Volunteer.
