Daycare owner charged with endangerment

SANDPOINT — The owner of a Sandpoint daycare facility was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of driving under the influence with four children in his vehicle in Pend Oreille County, Wash.

Thomas Jed Sigman is charged with driving while intoxicated, four counts of reckless endangerment and possession of an open container of alcohol, according to court documents.

Sigman, 55, is free on $2,500 bail and his arraignment in his arraignment is set for May 7 in Pend Oreille Superior Court.
