Raymond Henry Lowley III, 36, of Plummer, was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court to 46 months in prison, followed by four years of supervised release for distribution of methamphetamine, U.S. Attorney Wendy J. Olson announced.

U.S. District Court Judge Edward J. Lodge also ordered a $100 special assessment, and forfeiture of $1,200. Lowley pleaded guilty to the charge on Jan. 30.

According to the plea agreement, Lowley sold a confidential informant and an undercover officer methamphetamine in November and December 2012. The December drug sale occurred at a gas station on the Coeur d'Alene Indian Reservation. In total, Lowley sold $1,200 in methamphetamine.

The case was investigated by the multi-agency North Idaho Violent Crimes Task Force.
