Pirates sweep Bulldogs, Wildcats

WHITEFISH — Polson swept Whitefish in a Northwestern A conference tennis dual on Tuesday, dropping just two matches in an easy victory. 

The Pirate boys won all seven matches, led by Dylan McCrumb at No. 1 singles with a tight 7-5, 6-3 victory over Logan Blades. Brady Hislop, Thomas Crosby and Matt Sitter also picked up singles wins for Polson. 

The Polson girls topped Whitefish 5-2, winning all but one singles and doubles match. 

The Lady Pirates were led by Shannon Oakley’s 6-2 singles victory over Simone Craft.

Lauren Dupuis also recorded a singles win for Polson

Whitefish’s Sloan Ellis won No. 2 singles over Olivia Hewston.

The team of Caroline Carbo and Heather Luedke won at No. 1 doubles to record the Bulldogs’ only victories in the dual.

Columbia Falls 1

COLUMBIA FALLS — The Polson boys swept the day with a dominant showing at Columbia Falls. 

The Pirates won all four singles matches, led by a 6-0, 6-0 win by Brady Hislop at No. 1 to easily win the dual. 

Tyler Dupuis and Cadis Chowning won No. 2 doubles for Polson.

Columbia Falls’ top doubles pair of Caleb Baumann and Mason Gedlaman won the Wildcats only match of Northwestern A dual, 6-2, 6-2.
